Founders

Rev. Cynthia Walls-Ortiz

Prior to finding Christ, Reverend Cynthia struggled with life controlling issues such as drug addiction, alcoholism, fear, and anxiety. However, she found freedom and underwent transformation by submitting to God and accepting His free gift of forgiveness through Jesus Christ her Lord.

God says, in His Word

 

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9


Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understand will guard you hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.


God wants a relationship with you. He affirms that whatever you may be going through seek Him and He will be with you. Seek Him through prayer, His Word, and with a grateful heart. He will uphold you and deliver you from all addictions, sicknesses and any trials you may be going through. You are stronger than you think!


He did it for us, He will do it for you!

Nelson Ortiz

For thirty-four years, he was trapped in a cycle of violence and drug addiction. Now, he dedicates his life to serving the Lord, offering hope to those who feel ensnared. By sharing God's love and his own story, he demonstrates how surrendering to God can transform a life. He found freedom in Jesus Christ to the glory of God!


Nelson & Cynthia met each other at their lowest points and, after years of struggles they found freedom and transformation in the saving grace and transforming power of the Holy Sprirt - first one then the other. They are living, breathing testimonies to what God can do in the lives of people who seek Him. Their individual and collective testimonies assert that such acts can only be performed by the power of God.

Our vision is to glorify God by spreading the message of salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we strive to reach out to a lost and hurting world.

                                A Prayer for Salvation

If you haven’t received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and believe that God sent Him born of a virgin to die for your sins on the cross, that He was buried and that God raised Him from the grave three days later and is sitting at the right hand of the Father advocating for you today I encourage you to pray: “ Lord! I admit that I am a sinner in need of a Savior, in need of you Lord God , I ask You Lord to forgive me of all my sins known and unknown. I ask You to come into my heart. Lead me in the path of righteousness. Change me from the inside out. Give me a heart for You Lord God. Thank You for Your loving kindness and Your saving grace. Help me through my struggles. I invite You into my life. I receive You as my Lord and Savior in Jesus mighty matchless name I pray. Amen.

We hold the belief that God is central and the solution to overcoming substance abuse, emotional and psychological trauma, addictions, marital issues, health crises, and any life challenges that prevent people from realizing their God-given potential through Jesus Christ.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH 

  • We believe the Bible is inspired by God and is "the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct" 1 Timothy 3:15
  • We believe there is only one true God who exists as a Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Luke 2:22; Deuteronomy 6:4
  • We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and, as the second person of the Trinity, is God. John 10:30; Luke 23:46
  • We believe man was created good by God but was separated from God through original sin. Genesis 1:1; Genesis 1:27
  • We believe salvation "is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ". John 3:16-18
  • We believe that the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a separate and subsequent experience following conversion. Spirit baptism brings empowerment to live an overcoming Christian life and to be an effective witness. Luke 24:49
  • We believe that sanctification is "an act of separation from that which is evil, and of dedication unto God". It occurs when the believer identifies with, and has faith in, Christ in His death and resurrection. It is understood to be a process in that it requires continual yielding to the Holy Spirit. Romans 12:1,2; Hebrews 12:14; 1Peter 1:15,16; Galatians 2:20
  • We believe divine healing of the sick is provided for in the atonement. Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:16,17; James 5:14-16
  • We believe the "imminent and blessed hope" of the Church is its rapture preceding the bodily return of Christ to earth. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17; Titus 2:13,14; 1 Corinthian 15:51-52
  • We believe the rapture of the Church will be followed by the visible return of Christ and His reign on earth for a thousand years. Zechariah 14:5; Matthew 24:27; Revelation 1:7; Revelation 19:11-16; Revelation 20:1-6
  • We believe there will be a final judgment and eternal damnation for the "wicked dead". Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20;11-15; Revelation 21:8
  • We believe there will be a future new heavens and a new earth "wherein dwelleth righteousness". 2 Peter 3:13; Revelation  21; Revelation 22
